This is the first blog of many blogs. This is a new blog I've created for my journalism class. This isn't my first experience with blogging though. I used to do a daily one for my internship with www.GoNOMAD.com. Blog is kind of a funny word. It sounds like it's the stuff that Family Dare contestants would get slimed with if they got a question wrong.
I'm going to post some travel stories of mine, and any other things that may pop in my head from time to time. I have to assume that no one in the world is going to read this, so it's kind of like talking to an imaginary friend or going crazy. But stay tuned!

- Jon Brandt has traveled throughout the world and documented a large part of his travels. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and History, he spent 11 months as a volunteer English teacher in Cuenca, Ecuador. He now resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina, working as a writer, editor, and translator for a travel agency.
