Glaciar Perito Moreno Video

Here is a video on the glacier Perito Moreno, near the town of El Calafate in Patagonia. This is an easily accessible glacier, and it's clear that Argentina is doing a great job to preserve it and keep it clean. Tourism is big business here, and the town thrives off of this glacier. What's most striking is the fact that it's the only glacier in the world that is growing rather than receding.

Looks like you had a nice trip. I enjoyed the videos.

There was just an article in the New York Times a few days ago, 36 hours in Buenos Aires:

Have you been to any of these spots by any chance?

Hey Brian,

Thanks for following, as always. I haven't been to any of those spots in BA, but I'm familiar with a few of them because of my work. Some of those places are mighty nice, if I'm lucky some day I'll get to check them out. Hope all is well in Cuenca. What's new with the family and baby?

Family and baby are doing great. We're planning a trip to Ambato and the surrounds for Carnaval. Last week I put up a story at Calwalks about New Year's in Ecuador.

Were you ever here for New Year's? Pretty unique. It's another marathon of a tale, but I always try and punctuate with some photos to keep it interesting.

That's good to hear. I wasn't around for new years in Ecuador, but I know that it's all about the muñecas. I'll have to go over the story soon.
